Avanti is my favourite place to eat - so much so that my partner complains we go there too often! The food is exceptional - in particular the gluten free options. Having celiac, eating at restaurants is often a challenge. That is not a problem at Avanti as all the pizza and pasta can be gluten free- and it’s delicious. The atmosphere is lovely - very cosy and quaint. The service is excellent. All staff are friendly and food never takes longer than 20-30mins. Overall a great establishment which I would highly recommend.
Where to start. Greeted upon arrival and shown to our table where we were given complimentary water. Moretti on draught, yes please. Ordered the volcano pizza which flew down like a pigeon without wings. Given a free limoncello shot to celebrate a buddy’s 21st birthday. Food excellent, service sublime, Avanti worth every penny.
We were backpacking through England and we met with a friend and had my birthday dinner here at Avanti. We had lots of pasta dishes over our time in England, but nothing and I mean NOTHING has ever come close to how amazingly spectacular our food was here at Avanti. My sister and I are both Celiacs...so we were over joyed that Avanti offers gluten free pasta! The server, who I think was the owner, was so kind too, he helped me decide what to have...I ordered the Cremolini pasta dish. It was so delicious. It has been a couple months since our trip and I still think about that pasta regularly. I have tried to re-create it at home but have been unsuccessful. The flavours had such depth and richness. I've never had anything like it. So please, if you get the chance...visit Avanti. You won't regret it! 11/10 :)
We visited here for a special occasion and it completely lived up to expectations. Staff were fun, professional and service was great. Food was one of the most authentic,high quality meals we've had recently. Highly recommend
I went for my birthday meal - amazing service and the food was delicious! They gave me a complimentary cake and limoncello shots for the whole table. Would definitely go again, so friendly and attentive and very affordable food for how nice it was.
